Confirmed via the official Steamworks site, the online marketplace’s Halloween Sale will launch this week, followed by the Autumn sale in November and the Winter sale in December.
There’s no listening detailing the likely thousands of games going on sale this week but Steam’s description for the event says it will include “a special focus on content updates and in-game events in celebration of the theme”.
The confirmed dates for the next three sales will be:
- Steam Halloween Sale: October 28 – November 1, 2021
- Steam Autumn Sale: November 24 – 30, 2021
- Steam Winter Sale: December 22, 2021 – January 5, 2022
We generally know when Steam is planning a sale, given it happens at the same time every year. With the Steam Deck on the way, it’s these sales events are the perfect time to top up and add to your Steam library, so when the new hardware launches later this year, you can use Steam’s verification check to see how many of your games are fully compatible.
Either way, whether you plan on getting a Steam Deck or simply want to add discounted games to your library, there’s really no better time to spend some money on games that’ll be heavily discounted.
