State of Play Announced for October 27

Sony has announced a State of Play stream for Wednesday, October 27. Sid Shuman took to the PlayStation Blog to announce the event that will happen next Wednesday at 5:00 PM ET.

“This time out, we’ll be focusing on announcements and updates for upcoming third-party releases headed to PS5 and PS4.

The show is looking to be ~20 minutes or so and will share new looks at previously-announced games, plus a few reveals from our partners around the world. “

While there is no indication of the titles appearing, the mention of third-party titles, we know games like Final Fantasy XVI, Forspoken, and Stray may make an appearance. We’ll know for certain next week. The last State of Play was in July and confirmed the release of Death Stranding Director’s Cut and F.I.S.T. (Forged in Shadow Torch) .
