With one week to go before the launch of Sea of Thieves, things are ramping up. If you caught the Inside Xbox episode this weekend featuring Major Nelson, you may have caught a glimpse of a special item that can be found in Sea of Thieves – the golden banana! By consuming bananas in Sea of Thieves, your health is replenished, but here in the real world, Xbox and Rare are giving away four real 18-carat golden bananas!
From the famous Goldsmith Smith & Harris in London, the studio has crafted four of these rare, golden bananas, with the bananas be valued at £80,000.
The quest began today at 3:00 AM EST – and will continue for three days, and you’ll need a crew to solve the 15 riddles. On Wednesday, March 21 at 4:00 PM EST, participants from the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, and Australia can start inputting their answers to the riddles at Banana Quest. Do it quickly, though as you’ll only have several hours to get your answers in before moving to the finals on March 22, for one last riddle!
