Time to rise and shine for probably the biggest news of the day as Microsoft has announced in a trailer that Starfield will release on September 6th, which confirms the Bethesda game has been delayed out of the previously announced first half of the 2023 release window.
As an extra tidbit of information, the game’s director Todd Howard who showed up during the trailer revealed that the game’s developer, Bethesda is looking forward to showing more of the game in its very own showcase called the ‘Starfield Direct.’ The standalone event is set to stream on June 11th following the recently announced Xbox Games Showcase.
“This June, we’re going to bring you into the studio and give you a deep dive into the game at our Starfield Direct, There is so much we still have to show you, the game has many of the hallmarks you’d expect from us but it’s also a very unique experience. We know you’ve waited a long time to play something new from us and believe it or not we’re kinda the same, we miss it and we really can’t wait for you all to play it so thank you and we’ll see you soon,” Starfield game director, Todd Howard said in a video.
Starfield is set to launch on PC and Xbox Series X|S console on September 6th which as always with all Xbox Game Studios titles will release day and date on Xbox Game Pass.
