We got a bit from the galaxy far, far away, as Ubisoft announced Star Wars Outlaws at the Xbox Games Showcase with a release slated in 2024. The studio attached to the game is Massive Entertainment which was rumoured to be working on the LucasFilms property.
Unlike past Star Wars games, the focus is less on the Empire and more on the series’ crime syndicate as an antagonist force in a setting that takes place somewhere between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi in an open-world game where players will explore distinct planets across the galaxy, new and memorable while in the control of Kay Vess, an emerging scoundrel seeking freedom alongside her companion, Nix.
As a tease, a complete gameplay walkthrough of Star Wars Outlaws will be revealed at Ubisoft Forward tomorrow, so players anticipating won’t have to wait long on the gameplay.
