A new trailer for the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Survivor from Respawn Entertainment and EA follows Cal Kestis’s journey as he seeks out a safe haven away from the prying eyes of the empire.
The latest trailer comes from a team of industry veterans which included Stig Asmussen as the game director and Cameron Monaghan as Cal Kestis. The former padawan is no longer a student and has spent the five years since we’ve last seen him training and honing his skills as a jedi. In that time, the older and wise Kestis looks beyond his skills and seeks out help from former crewmates.
The trailer linked above shows what familiar friends and new allies are up to in the time since Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Cere Junda (Debra Wilson), Greez Dritus (Daniel Roebuck) Merrin (Tina Ivlev), and newcomer Bode Akuna (Noshir Dalal) join Cal in the resistance against the Empire. Cal’s journey takes him to entirely new planets including Koboh, the home of the Bedlam Raiders.
I’ve previously covered just how much Respawn has put into the sequel, which you can see is a lot of work. From new stances to gadgets and tools, Cal is versatile and able to deal with various situations thanks to his honed talents as a Jedi.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC on April 28.
