Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster Launches February 2024

Nightdive Studios has confirmed that the Star Wars: Dark Forces remaster will launch on February 28, 2024.

Star Wars: Dark Forces  Remaster is set to run on Nightdive Studios’ KEX engine, which allows the franchise’s first-person shooter to boost its resolution up to 4K and run up to 120 fps with remastered cutscenes and content plus includes features like advanced 3D rendering, modern gamepad support, Trophies and Achievements, and more.

Star Wars: Dark Forces first launched in 1995 on the MS-DOS with a port released more than a year later on the original PlayStation.

Players will take on the role of Kyle Katarn, a Rebel Alliance member tasked with infiltrating the Galactic Empire. Soon, he discovers the Dark Trooper Project, and things quickly ramp up in an attempt to thwart the project.

The Dark Forces remaster includes 4K resolution and 120 frames per second with high-resolution textures, enhanced lighting, and rending and gamepad support.

Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5,  Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
