EA’s Star Wars Battlefront has sold 12 million copies since its launch back in November. Battlefront sold 6 million copies in November and an additional 6 million in December. With Star Wars: The Force Awakens breaking records in every which way – this isn’t mind blowing but, it is when you realize that these numbers are before the launch of the movie on December 18th worldwide.

While there has been some controversy about launching at full retail price on top of a very expensive season pass, and in addition to, Gamestop executives being dissatisfied with sales of the title, the game is expected to hit 13 million by March 2016.
