Square Enix To Reveal 30th Anniversary Plans For Final Fantasy Soon

The first Final Fantasy launched in Japan on December 18, 1987. We’re almost at the 30-year mark for the series and nearly an endless amount of games and media, we’re hoping to see what Square Enix has in store for the series, and for us.

While the publisher isn’t exactly ready to divulge their plans for the series, they did announce in a recent issue of Japanese magazine, Famitsu, that news would arrive soon.

Final Fantasy XV released in November, and the next game to release will be a remaster of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age next year. Hopefully we hear and see more of Final Fantasy VII Remake, or maybe even Final Fantasy VIII Remake, please!
