With publishers looking to get the news out on their offerings, companies are now shifting their reveals to digital format conferences. Square Enix is the latest to move their announcements to stream.
Announced today, Square Enix Presents is the company’s take on the Nintendo Direct format, which has proven to be the go-to for many publishers for some time now. Described as a series of shows, the company will reveal new games, updates and news. The first show, debuting on March 18 at 1:00 PM EDT on Square Enix’s official Twitch and YouTube channels, will run approximately 40-minutes and include the world premiere for the new Life is Strange game, which includes a new protagonist with new powers.
