After finishing the story campaign and all the downloadable content, I was for sure done playing last year’s Marvel’s Spider-Man on PlayStation 4. I’d done as much as I could, gained all the costumes I wanted, and that was good enough for me.
However, as announced by PlayStation Japan Twitter account, the suits found in the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home are coming to Insomniac’s latest title, and from the looks of it launch today to tie into the launch of the film.
Marvel’s Spider-Man isn’t a stranger to movie tie-ins, either. Since launching, the studio has done a commendable job in adding in the most requested suits, including Raimi’s Spider-Man, the original Marvel Cinematic Universe suits, the Iron Spider suit, the homemade suit, and now, the two suits in Far From Home. Also, let’s not forget about the Into the Spider-verse version of the suit.
As it stands, this is another reason to jump back in and start a New Game Plus with a new suit of your choosing. As it’s summer, the release schedule is dry so it won’t be until September we see major titles begin launching again, what better time than now to return to Marvel’s Spider-Man?
