Trey Parker and Matt Stone return to E3 to bring us more info on the sequel to the surprisingly great South Park: Stick of Truth.
South Park: Fractured But Whole will pick up where Stick of Truth left off. As the new kid, you’re finally accepted by Cartman and co. and is now part of the gang. To face a new threat, the boys need to toss aside the wizard and elf costumes and become…COON AND FRIENDS. Fractured But Whole seems to be riffing off of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe and that’s great.
The combat system has had a major overhaul since Stick of Truth. There’s no more spacial awareness. You can move around during combat, and even knock enemies into one another.
