While we know that Sony Santa Monica is currently working on the sequel to God of War, a new listing hints at a second project being developed at the studio and is actively recruiting for said project.
If you head over to the Careers page on the studio’s website or to this tweet, you’ll see the job listing that’s currently looking for a full-time art director, but within the job listing, it specifically mentions an “unannounced new title.” The studio’s career page is currently looking for a handful of positions that fall in-line with active recruitment on a new project, so this all makes sense that there is a new project underway in Santa Monica.
With so many talented individuals working on the God of War sequel, it’s exciting to see the team adding new faces to an exciting, unannounced project. I wonder what sort of game we should expect from the studio but it’s far too early to even postulate on what Sony Santa Monica is working on at the moment.
