Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is now on Paramount+ and you can begin streaming it digitally today!
For those who are looking to own the film physically, Paramount says fans can own it on Blu-Ray and 4K beginning on August 9, 2022. If you want own both Sonic movies, a bundle will be available to purchase as well in a 2-movie collection.
Included in the digital release of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is over an hour of bonus features including an all-new animated short called Sonic Drome Home.
Returning to direct is Jeff Fowler with a screenplay by Pat Casey and Josh Miller and John Whittington. Ben Schwartz returns as Sonic and Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik. Joining the pair are James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, Adam Pally, Shemar Moore, Colleen O’Shaughnessey as Miles ‘Tails” Prower, and Lee Majdoub with Idris Elba as Knuckles the Echidna.
In April, Paramount and Sega revealed Sonic the Hedgehog 2 grossed over $150 million domestically, going on to be the highest-grossing video game movie of all time in the US. The film has gone on to gross over $375 million globally.
If you’re looking for more Sonic content, a new collection is set to launch in June titled Sonic Origins followed by a new open-world entry titled Sonic Frontiers.
