Like its predecessor, Sonic Mania, the latest game from Sonic Team and Sega, Sonic Superstars has an excellent animated sequence you can watch.
The episode, which I’ve linked above, is a prologue to the next mainline 2D game, and it introduces Fang the Hunter, who works on behalf of Dr. Eggman. We also meet Trip, a new character you’ll meet next month. The duo and Dr. Eggman search for a ruin that may be important in Eggman’s following scheme. Thankfully, Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, and Amy are there to save the day.
Sonic Superstars launches for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and PC on October 17, 2023.
