At Summer Game Fest, Sega revealed Sonic Superstars, a new 2.5D iteration featuring classic Sonic the Hedgehog gameplay.
Sonic and his friends adventure to the North Sta Islands, a mystical place featuring never-before-seen environments filled with colourful places to explore. The Islands feature enormous creatures, new adventures, and the return of Dr. Eggman, who can now obtain brand-new abilities known as the Emerald Powers when Chaos Emeralds are collected.
Select and play Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose to take on Dr. Eggman and Fang. Sega also confirmed Sonic designer Naoto Ohshima with a new character Sonic will face.
Sonic Superstars will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC this fall.
