Smalland: Survive the Wilds Heading To Consoles And PC In December

Leaving Early Access after eight months

Developer Merge Games has announced its open-world multiplayer survival game. Smalland: Survive the Wilds is leaving early access later this year and is launching digitally on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series on December 7.

This doesn’t mean updates are slowing down by any stretch, as new content is still coming to Smalland: Survive the Wilds as its new launch date gets closer and closer. The next major update will drop next month and give players access to a new biome, new creatures, and more. Even after the December launch, the studio is planning to support Smalland.

If you’ve never played Smalland: Survive the Wilds, you play as smallfolk trying to survive and take back the Overland after the Giants decided to leave the homeland. That doesn’t mean things are safe as the wildlife is still a danger to you as you face giant insects, birds, and a variety of other creatures as you explore, scavenge, craft and build your base. Additionally, Smalland: Survive the Wilds supports up to 10 players in multiplayer.

Smalland: Survive the Wilds first launched on PC through early access on March 29th and will release its 1.0 version update later this year.
