Slave Zero X

Two New Voice Talents Join Slave Zero X

Ziggurat Interactive is sharpening its blades to deliver a classic and punishing experience in its upcoming side-scrolling slasher Slave Zero X, a sequel to 1999’s Slave Zero.

Now, they are strengthening their vocal cast with the announcement of the two-headed mysterious mastermind Regent.

Voice actors Michael Schwalbe and Shelby Young are splitting heads.

Schwalbe comes from the anime world, where he is most known for Kawaki on Naruto’s next-generation Boruto

In video games, he’s brought some much-loved characters to life, like Balrog (Devil May Cry 5), Combine Charger (Half-Life Alyx) and Scoppy Banoopy (Bugsnax).

Young is no stranger to video games, having skillfully handled Kuld in God of War Ragnarok. She’s also a Star Wars regular, showing up as Princess Leia in Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and various voices in Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

Today’s trailer demos the couple’s distorted and deeply self-aggrandizing voices in a way that will get on your nerves while you navigate Regent’s challenges.
