skate. started running Season 3 just a few weeks ago, bringing back the Isle of Grom, introducing new tricks, and even more.
That’s not all, though, as skate. is gearing up for one of its biggest partnerships yet with Nike SB. Bringing in the iconic brand into the world of skate. gives players more freedom to rock the fits they want, the way they want. It marks a new content strategy, with the developers recognizing the need for change.

Full Circle notes that it needed to change both its content strategy and its content quality. They promise they’re listening, and while not everything works exactly the way they or the players always want, they’re making a genuine effort to make skate. The game everyone wants it to be. Growing pains for now, but ones that will hopefully build the foundation for the game moving forward.

Season 3, titled Fluid Flashback, introduced the Isle of Grom, an expanded and improved skating area. The Nike SB Pop-Up event, running from April 14 to May 5, features a range of products directly tied to SB’s influence on skateboarding. Some classic shoes, namely Blazers, Dunks, and Dunk Highs, are available for purchase, with the classic white Dunks bundled with a cap, hoodie, and baggy jorts. There will be event tasks available to all players; complete them, and you’ll get a pair of Dunk Highs, a sticker, and socks. Challenges also roll out, each named after iconic Nike SB skate videos.

The takeover continues on Grom, where the entire area is branded with Nike. It also switches up to nighttime, changing the vibes and views a lot. Day/night cycles have been heavily requested from the community, and this brings the night to Grom. It’ll be available for all players from April 14 to May 5, then moving behind a paywall. Grom at Night runs until June 2, but between May 5 and June 2, you’ll need a premium pass or a 24-hour rip chip pass to access it.

Hopping into Grom at Night, the Nike branding is on full display. It does look great, with the night bringing a distinctly different vibe to the area. The shoreline of the city extends across the water, bathed in lights and darkness that feels nostalgic in its own way. Seeing Grom at night made me flash back to my teenage years of skating, when the night always felt more freeing. There’s a distinct feel to it that the day just can’t match. While I appreciate that all players will have access to it, it is unfortunate that those looking to skate here after May 5 will need to pay in some way to use it.

The Nike SB Pop-Up runs from April 14 – May 5, with Grom at Night running through June 2. It’s a great time to hop if you’re chasing iconic Nike SB cosmetics, especially while Grom at Night remains free.
skate. is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
