Earlier today, during the Silent Hill Transmission, Silent Hill Ascension was announced by Genvid, Bad Robot Games, Behavior, and DJ2 Entertainment. Jacob Navok, CEO of Genvid revealed that this project will not be a game but a real-time interactive experience.
From the production companies invovled, Silent Hill: Ascension looks like a mixed-media project that will indlude aspects like real-time decisions. It’s also got J.J. Abrams attached through Bad Robot Games, with the director commenting “Genvid’s experience presents a wild, epic, and innovative new way to immerse yourself in the horrors of Silent Hill.”
Other than that, we don’t know much else. The project is set to launch in 2023.
