Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Announced, Out This June

Atlus revealed Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengence during the Nintendo Partner Direct Showcase today, which is coming in June.

A teenager on his way to school is suddenly thrust into an apocalypse scenario, which is usually how the series kicks off each game—awakening in Da’at, the netherworld beckons and bears dangers you’ve never seen before. Within minutes, demons set their gaze upon your character, who before long gains the ability to battle them. Paired with the supernatural phenomenon Aogami, you fuse into a Nahobino, a figure capable of decimating the demons plaguing Tokyo.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance brings a new story path for our protagonist. This new path offers new areas, demons, music, and more accessible gameplay with an improved battle system and field exploration.

At the start of the adventure, the player is offered two paths to take: the Canon of Creation or the brand-new route, Canon of Vengeance, which is worth experiencing. The Canon of Vengeance tells a similar tale to the Canon of Creation, but the latter half is a drastic departure with different outcomes.

Every Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance system has been updated with new details and elements, including growth elements, new demon experiences and conversations, and unique skills.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance launches for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC on June 21, 2024.
