The team behind Desperados 3, Mimimi Games, is working on a new project. Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew is a self-published stealth strategy game and it will push the genre to a new level by introducing new elements.
The description of Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew sounds like a blast. Set in the Lost Caribbean during an alternate history of the Golden Age of Piracy. On an island chain under the control of the Inquisition, you’ll play as cursed pirate Aifa and seek out the Black Pearls to revive your own cursed crew.
In total, your eight shipmates are playable, each with individual personalities, each armed with their own unique supernatural powers. The idea is to pull off heists and acquire a mysterious treasure from the Inquisition. You’ll need to stealthily infiltrate their fortresses and use your skills to take out any challenges.
There will be tons of shanty towns to explore and you’ll explore the islands with your ghost ship with a living soul, the Red Marley.
Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC later this year.
