With Judgement arriving on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Stadia today, Sega has launched a countdown timer on their website. Using a fish-lens look at the fictional city of Kamurocho, there is something set to happen in a few weeks but what it is, is anyone’s guess.
The timer is currently ticking away and will stop on May 7, 2021, at 10:00 AM ET. There is a link to YouTube where the premiere is set to 13 days from now and all it says is “Judgement Day.”
Judgement is a spin-off set within the Yakuza universe and features ex-cop turned detective Takayuki Yagami trying to stop a serial killer from hurting the people of Kamurocho. At the time, it was a departure from what fans of the series had come to know, but was received positively for its characters and gameplay.
