Mortal Kombat 1 Peacemaker

See Peacemaker Unlock Peace in Mortal Kombat 1 Ahead of His Release Next Week

Christopher Smith is bringing the peace to MK1

The next DLC fighter for Mortal Kombat 1 is right around the corner, and he’s unlocking peace!

The WB and DC comicbook antihero Peacemaker is next in line and we’ve gotten a solid look at his move set (featuring Eagly) for the game and of course fatalities.

The trailer shows us a fast-paced look at just how much ass Peacemaker can kick in Mortal Kombat 1 and how much fun he’s going to have doing it. Voiced by John Cena, some great one liners are being tossed at his opponents as he gets ready for the fight and tosses them across the screen.

Eagly, guns and anti-gravity moves are his bread and butter. Some great-looking juggles and combos are being pulled off in the two fights shown, culminating in a finishing move.

The finisher has Peacemaker boosting through Quan Chi, tearing them in half and smashing them into bloody pits with his sonic boom.

Free Trial and Crossplay Coming to Mortal Kombat 1

If you haven’t played Mortal Kombat 1 yet and want to try it, a free trial weekend is around the corner. From March 7-10, you can play all base fighters and Kameo characters, online and local multiplayer, Towers, and the first two chapters of the Story Mode.

Peacemaker comes to Early Access on February 28th, with his full release on March 6th. Janet Cage (also featured in the trailer) joins the Kameo roster later in March. This will also coincide with “Krossplay” functionality coming to the game on February 28th across all available platforms.

The game is available now, and the trial will also run on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC on Steam.
