Sabotage Studios was on hand today to reveal that Sea of Stars is coming to PS4 and PS5 next year. We’ve previously covered the game in our preview and have been eager to get the game in our hands.
“In Sea of Stars, combat is purely turn-based without any time bars, avoiding pressure in order to let the player make decisions at their own pace instead. Each of the six playable characters comes with a small kit of four spells/skills with differing damage types and patterns, which can be combined with other characters’ moves,” says Thierry Boulanger, the Creative Director.
This might sound familiar as the game draw inspiration from older titles like Illusion of Gaia, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy III, and more.
