One of the biggest reveals yesterday at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase was the re-reveal of Scorn. It had originally been delayed but is now on track to launch on October 21, 2022. Ebb Software and Kepler Interactive have two trailers for fans today
As part of the showcase yesterday, fans got a release date for Scorn. The trailer shown was meant to give off the desolate feeling the landscape will offer players when the game launches. The world was once an industrious place, now it lays in ruin and you’ll awaken here lost in the labyrinth.
Prior to that, Scorn appeared on the PC Gaming Show as part of the presentation. Joining the show was Doug Bradley who has previously starred as Pinhead in the Hellraiser series.
Everything I’ve seen so far about Scorn tells me it’s going to be one of the most uneasy games in some times. The world feels so desolate and hopeless and the world is clearly inspired by H.R Giger made to serve as a living, interconnected environments that will torment players as they fend for themselves.
