Sega announced today that the long running Sonic the Hedgehog comic will be coming to an end, as the company has ended their partnership with Archie Comics.
Announced on the official Sonic the Hedgehog twitter account, the company says although the 24 year long partnership is coming to an end, but it doesn’t mean the end of Sonic Comics.

The news shouldn’t be a huge surprise to fans as earlier this year Archie comics has already removed Sonics series from their subscriptions listing. Although this will be an end of a long era it will be interesting to see where Sega will take Sonic in his next comic book adventures.
