This weekend Disney held the Star Wars Celebration in London with thousands of fans attending the expo. We saw an assortment of news including new films based on the expansive lore of the Jedi and the Sith, recent television shows, and of course, a fresh look at Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
If you’ve been following Respawn’s path to launch, there are some things you’ve already seen in the trailer and we’ve detailed them here. In short, there is much to look forward to in a few weeks and more freedom for returning players to experience now that Cal Kestis has grown as a Jedi and resistance fighter.
One thing that stands out about this trailer is the inclusion of Coruscant, an important and revered location for the Jedi. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor director Stig Asmussen was interviewed this weekend during the reveal in front of fans and he also confirmed a few things about the game.
“We’re taking our Metroidvania approach a step further and, just to talk about another planet, we’re going to have Coruscant as well,” Asmussen said. “I think there’s been a lot of speculation on that, and I’m just confirming it here.”

April 28 can’t come fast enough and I’m eager to learn how some familiar faces are holding up and whether or not the Mantis crew are still as charming and friendly.
