Salt and Sacrifice Heads to Steam and Nintendo Switch on November 7, Alongside The Traitor’s Tomb Update

We are still getting news on upcoming releases this year as 2D Soulslike platformer Salt and Sacrifice from Ska Studios and Devoured Studios is heading to two new platforms, Steam and Nintendo Switch, on November 7.

One exciting aspect of Salt and Sacrifice‘s newest platform release is its dropping alongside a new free update, The Traitor’s Tomb’ which is set to add a new area, new weapons, new bosses, and a PvP arena via an IGN Trailer description. This upcoming release is a sequel to 2016’s Salt and Sanctuary and follows the game’s initial release on the Epic Games and PlayStation consoles on May 10 of last year.

Salt and Sacrifice will take players to the once-peaceful country of the Altarstone Kingdom. However, that all changes when Mages brings chaos in the elemental variety to disturb the status quo. Players will hunt this force as Marked Inquisitors, a doomed force of the condemned, exterminate the Mages you come across in this 20+ hour campaign of a large and labyrinthine world filled with scavengers, secrets, traps, and powerful guardians. Along the way, players can craft unique weapons and armour from the leftover remains of the enemies they defeat while mastering dozens of weapons and runic arts.

Salt and Sacrifice is currently available on PC, PS4, and PS5, but if you are patient, the Steam and Nintendo Switch version isn’t too far away after this busy October game season comes to a close.
