To begin Nintendo’s broadcast this morning on Twitch, we get confirmation that Ryu is joining as a new challenger for Super Smash Bros. Wii U, he arrives in his Steet Fighter II and will appear with his level, Suzaku Castle.
Roy is officially back and hasn’t been seen since Super Smash Bros Melee and is available today for download.
Back in April, Reddit user shinyquagsire23 was data mining in the sound files from Super Smash Bros. Wii U and found reference to Street Fighter and others belong to Roy from Fire Emblem.
Ryu will launch for $5.99 on both Wii U and 3DS, or $6.99 as a bundle.
