Nintendo paved the way last year by releasing two big titles last year for mobile devices. With both Super Mario Run and Fire Emblem Heroes, you got Nintendo quality games in your hand and on the go, both of which we enjoyed immensely here at Console Creatures.
Rumours are swirling that Nintendo and DeNa are working on a handheld Zelda title, sources close to the Wall Street Journal have revealed.
These sources say that after Animal Crossing released later this year, the next series to see the jump will be Zelda, however, this is all speculation.
In any case, if this works out and it’s good, this ensures a healthy environment for Nintendo and it’s IP’s as both Android and iOS have an exponential user base to utilize.
