Romancelvania looks to be exactly what it promises to be: a dating sim/Metroidvania with bite.
The Deep End Games and 2124 Publishing has been busy kickstarting and winning awards, but now they are ready to help male or female Drac find love.
Romancelvania, which is available now, invites players to take part in “Love At First Bite,” a dating show in the vein of The Bachelor — where Drac will meet with 12 fully-voiced contestants based on mystical creatures, and grounded with relatable charms and faults. Take your relationships to the next level to find progress in your strength, abilities, and more.
The best, and more so the worst, dating shows tell stories rich in drama and intrigue. Romancelvania features personal choices in dialogue and narrative options, as well as the ability to choose your body type and voice so that this is your bloody love story.
And look, nobody is going to be comparing Transylvania to the Jersey Shore anytime soon, but it’s yours to explore. From the voluptuous Smashmounds to the back alleys of Booty Bay and everything in between, discover an unpredictable, interconnected world filled with monsters to recruit, hidden date spots, and outlandish baddies and boss encounters.

In every step of our journey in creating Romancelvania, we felt free to be as wonderfully wild as possible. We took every chance we could, wrote countless love letters to our favourite games, and poured everything we had into this ultimate passion project. We hope everyone else loves it as much as we do.”
Romancelvania is available now on Steam and Epic Games, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The standard edition of Romancelvania is $24.99 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games, while the Digital Deluxe Edition is $34.99, only on Steam. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes a Digital OST and Specialty Weapon, “Grim’s Scythe,” to slay your foes.
