The man who has been with Rockstar for 15 years in charge of their North studio has left.
In a report from Kotaku, Rockstar confirmed his decision to leave the studio.
Leslie Benzies has been on a sabbatical since the release of Grand Theft Auto V – roughly 17 months since the release during the original release on PS3 and Xbox 360.
Rockstar North has been a sister company for years now, co-ordinating with other studios and sharing work over the last decade or so on Rockstar’s big games.
Sam and Dan Houser along with Leslie Benzies were recognized by the Academy of Arts and Science for their contributions, adding all three into their Hall of Fame in 2014.
Rob Nelson and Aaron Garbut will be filling in for now.
