The second project announced by Gearbox Publishing today during the 10th anniversary of the Risk of Rain series is the free-to-play roguelike Risk of Rain: Hostile Worlds.
The action-RPG is coming to mobile devices on iOS and Android and features the familar bullet-hell experience from consoles and also hero collecting. You’ll assemble a team of Survivors from the franchise’s largest cast to explore the Versanto system.
With Frima Studio developing, Hostile Worlds features dynamic mid-game Survivor swapping and hero collecting elements.
