Review: TP-Link 10400 mAh Power Bank

How many times have you forgotten to charge your battery on your phone and are stuck with nowhere to get some juice? It might not be as many times as I’ve done it, but’s happened! With events throughout the city, I’m usually using my phone heavily and this causing major drain on my battery life. I’m left at the end of the day with no juice and no way to charge.

I’ve been testing out TP-Link’s 10400 Power Bank for the better part of a month now and I’ve been happy knowing I’ve got this battery pack on standby.

The Power Bank has two USB ports (5V/2A and 5V/1A) which do allow for simultaneous of two devices, and a micro-USB on the side to charge your battery pack through a PC or phone charger.

The packing comes with a carry case for your Power Bank, a charging cable, and a built-in flashlight to help in low light situations. It’s a small but welcome feature!

The Power Bank comes with a 10400mAh capacity and depending on what you charge, can provide adequate recharges per cycle. My iPhone 6 Plus I charged three times before needing to charge the Power Bank again, this alone left me happy with this as my backup option.

I’ve used a dozen different battery backups over the years and like with many things you get what you pay for here. TP-Link provides quality products and at reasonable pricing. A month later and I’m continually making sure I always have my Power Bank on me. It’s convenient to keep on me at all times.
