Harmonix Music VR is not a game by any means. It’s from Harmonix, but, acts more like a synthesizer for the music included within. It reminded me of the original PlayStation’s visualizer in an entirely new direction.
There isn’t much you do, you explore some interesting landscapes and point your head at things and click, this leads to a psychedelic experience as you watch it unfold in front of you.
It puts a smile on your face and then fizzles out.
The cool thing about Harmonix Music VR is that you import your own tunes via USB into the game and allows you to experience those in another way. The music included isn’t anything special and does feature some head moving tunes. There aren’t many songs, though, no more than twenty and most of it is some form of EDM.
I’d avoid this unless you like to sit back and just chill out to some music and special effects. The gimmick wears off quickly and leaves little to experience.
