Revealed as part of today’s Silent Hill Transmission, a new feature film is in the works and it is called Return to Silent Hill.
Not much is known about the movie but it has been confirmed that Christophe Gans, who worked on 2006’s Silent Hill is back. We learned Return to Silent Hill will use a plot similar to Silent Hill 2 with the protagonist searching for their family before winding up in Silent Hill.
Producer Victor Hadida says he pitched a new film and remake of Silent Hill 2, with the film’s goal being to”make it modern, but also very true to the video game,” and is set to include monsters like Pyramid Head.
Alongside the remake of Silent Hill 2, Konami also announced Silent Hill f and Silent Hill: Townfall.
