Ron Gilbert’s Return to Monkey Island is set to launch next month. It also couldn’t come at a better time as the point-and-click adventure will launch on International Talk Like a Pirate Day, according to the trailer shown during Gamescom Opening Night Live.
Gilbert teased the game earlier this year before finally revealing the game. He also confirmed it is a direct sequel to The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge.
Return to Monkey Island will launch on September 19, 2022.
