I’m really glad Electronic Arts decided to be much less awkward this time around when revealing an upcoming game. Unlike last time, during their E3 where Respawn founder Vince Zampella was put on the spot and announced Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order with no trailer, screenshots, or anything worth mentioning. It was weird, it was awkward.
Since then, we’ve learned tidbits about the upcoming game. For starters, the brand-new action game is set after Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and tells an original tale about a surviving Padawan. The launch is expected for Holiday 2019.
As it were, the upcoming game is scheduled for a reveal in April during the annual Star Wars Celebration, which happens on April 13 this year.
Did you hear? #StarWarsJediFallenOrder will be at #StarWarsCelebration Chicago! See the game for the first time on April 13th.
Plus, hear from @MattLanter about his work on #StarWarsBattlefrontII. https://t.co/vE0oPnYDSZ

After two popular first-person shooters in the Titanfall universe, and a free-to-play battle royale game that’s taken the gaming world by storm with Apex Legends, Respawn is on a high right now and my faith in their ability for cohesive storytelling is at an all-time high. The campaign for Titanfall 2 quickly became a highlight of the generation for me and to this day is one of my favourites.
