Team Asobo’s Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy will launch this August.
Revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase, the game, set 15 years before A Plague Tale: Requiem, stars Sophia, “a fierce, young plunderer” who is hiding and determined to uncover her past.
Set on Minotaur Island, Sophia will face trials, deadly trials, and puzzles as she stays ahead of an army chasing after her. However, the island holds secrets like a creature behind the myth.
You can shift between Sophia’s Middle Ages and ancient Minoan times, watching as echoes of the past help shape battles in the present. The story unfolds across the two destinies of two heroes linked by fate and the Macula’s legacy.
Puzzles require tools like your notebook and a stolen Minoan sphere to solve ingenious puzzles by manipulating light—a force woven by Daedalus into the island’s heart.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy launches on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC on August 27, 2026. It will be on Game Pass Day One.
