Capcom another episode of Resident Evil 4‘s anime series titled under the Resident Evil Masterpiece Theater banner and it continues to be perfect.
The third episode much like the first and second takes the seriousness of Resident Evil 4 and recontextualizes the events that see Leon attempt to rescue Ashley from the cult Los Illuminados.
In the third episode after Leon has saved Ashley, they try to find a way out of their current situation. Coming upon an old man who is working in a woodshop, they ask for help before being ambushed by a group of Ganados who follow them.
While the remake of Resident Evil 4 looks nothing like the anime above, much of the story beats are on par with what we’ve come to recognize and honestly, it’s impressive that these vignettes are short and sweet while succinctly summarizing the events of Ashley’s rescue.
