Game Informer’s been featuring a series of videos and content on upcoming game Control, the latest from Remedy. Since E3 2018, I’ve not been able to grasp the type of game Control wanted to be but slowly the layers are peeling back and what I’m finding is a story I’m already invested in.
In an interview with Game Informer, we’ve at least pinpointed that the upcoming supernatural thriller is set to launch during the summer months. That doesn’t really nail down a date but the summer season is anywhere from late May to August for the industry.
After a secretive agency in New York is invaded by an otherworldly threat, you become the new Director struggling to Regain Control. This supernatural third-person action-adventure game will challenge you to master a combination of supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts and reactive environments while fighting through a deep and unpredictable world.

Control looks right up my alley.
