Players will be able to enjoy the classic experience that World of Warcraft offered about 15 years ago on August 27. The classic, or vanilla, experience will be running the 1.12 drums of war update and it goes without saying to anyone who enjoyed the original experience that it will be a very slow grind to leveling up your character. You will be able to start creating your characters on August 13 to ensure you get the name you want as you prepare to re-enter the world of Azeroth!
