Red Dead Redemption 2 Leaks Include Battle Royale, First Person Mode

Trusted Reviews has released a list of leaked tidbits about the upcoming game from Rockstar, Red Dead Redemption 2. The author of the post claims they have had knowledge of all this since last summer, but decided not to publish it as there was not enough evidence to confirm it to be true. That changed today as they went ahead and posted about their findings.

The massive open-world game will include its own spin on the currently popular Battle Royale mode, Money Grab sees two teams fighting for gold, gathering it and returning it to their base, and lastly, a mode called Fight and Survive sees two teams fight against each other with a limited amount of revives before your team is permanently eliminated.

Also, there will be tents to own in-game, serving like apartments do in GTA Online, you can purchase and upgrade them as well.

Players will also be frequently rewarded for completing tasks with a range of activities including killing enemies, traveling a certain distance and more.

Online will feature a massive world to explore, and what is being called the most in-depth world built by Rockstar, examples include NPC’s opening and closing their stores based on time of day, decorating their storefronts, and more.

There will also be online markets to purchase equipment and embark on missions, there will also be a free event to look for treasure.

Red Dead Redemption 2’s campaign will include new vehicle types including mine-carts, horse-drawn carriages and new activities such as horsemanship, cattle herding, and herbology.

For the first time ever, you can experience the campaign and multiplayer in first-person, with specific animations created to cater to that experience and Dead Eye returns with enhanced abilities.

With so much information making its way online, this makes this eight-month wait all much harder. Trusted Reviews only published this after comparing promotional material already released to images they received in the summer.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 26, 2018.
