It is now official. Red Dead Redemption 2 is now the biggest opening weekend title in the entertainment industry. It also has the second biggest launch in retail sales behind GTA V, the biggest entertainment launch of 2018, most pre-ordered game on the PlayStation Network, and biggest one day and three day sales on the PlayStation Network. We will no doubt continue to see Red Dead Redemption 2 achieve new benchmarks as we approach the holiday season.
Not really surprising. The game is really well made.
