Ubisoft’s Rayman Legends Retold has been slightly delayed and will no longer launch in October.
In a post on Twitter, Ubisoft confirmed the delay:
“While the game has officially gone gold, we have decided to take extra time to make sure every detail gets the care it deserves,” Ubisoft confirmed. “In the meantime, we can’t wait for you to see what we’ve been working on, starting with a Game Overview trailer on September 22. That same day, a selection of creators and press will share fresh hands-on impressions.”

As a remaster of Rayman Legends, the game adds updates that should please fans. The remake includes brand-new 3D visuals, voiced cinematics, a new world known as Kung Foot, new musical stages, an expanded soundtrack, and co-op.
The delay is surprising, given that Ubisoft has little else coming this year besides some Switch 2 ports like The Crew Motorfest. Of course, there’s the annual Just Dance: Decades of Hits, but in terms of new games, we don’t really have anything on the horizon unless something gets revealed between now and December.
Rayman Legends Retold now launches on December 3, 2026, for Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and PC.
