It may very well go down that “2020” is the scariest thing to come out of 2020. It’s been a year of frights and fears.
But Ubisoft has one more up their sleeve: Rainbow Six Siege’sSugar Fright. And it comes with a genuinely terrifying game mechanic: the respawn.
Starting tomorrow and running until November 10th, Year 5 Season 3 players can take on an all-new game mode called Candy War, where Zofia, Capitao, IQ, Nomad, Thermite, Castle, Ela, Frost, Goyo and Pulse take to a new event-specific map as puppets to fight over candies left by fallen operators.
However, just like that reoccurring dream I always have about a rainbow sock monkey chasing down and eventually killing me, operators can now respawn and come for your candy! Your only hope is to collect enough candies to escape your horrifying dreamscape.
Sugar Fright has its own collection of 30 unique items, with customization for the aforementioned operators. Players can earn Sugar Fright packs simply by taking part, purchasing packs for 300 R6 Credits or 12500 Renown each in the packs section of the home screen. Or, finally, each operator’s exclusive, time-limited customization items are bundles in the shop section for 1680 R6 Credits each.
