Princess Peach: Showtime! Director Is Etsunobu Ebisu

Nintendo’s odd history of keeping the names of developers and actors a secret until launch is not something new. We’ve seen this several times, and more recently, we saw it last year with Super Mario Bros. Wonder, which introduced a new voice actor for Mario and Luigi.

Princess Peach: Showtime! is finally out, and until today, Nintendo has not revealed who was working on it. However, now that you can pick up a copy in stores, you can also easily hit the credits.

Once you roll the credits on Princess Peach: Showtime!, you’ll see that Goemon designer Etsunobu Ebisu serves as both a producer and director, and Good-Feel is the game’s developer.

Ebisu is also the CEO of Good-Feel, which was established in 2005. He has since worked on several Nintendo games and stepped into the director’s role nearly three decades later.

Good-Feel previously worked on the Nintendo games Yoshi’s Wooly World, Kirby’s Epic Yarn, Wario Land: Shake It, and more.

In our review of Princess Peach: Showtime! it “proves you don’t need Mario showing up to save the day because Princess Peach doesn’t need anybody to step in.”
