I played the original Pokémon Mystery Dungeon years ago on the Nintendo DS, and always wanted more animated adventures that included talking Pokémon, and one that included a talking Squirtle who was once a human boy.
Now, over a decade later, a remake of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team is in the works and it is coming out later this year. If you can’t wait until March 6, 2020, have no fear as a demo is available today. The dungeon crawling subseries of Pokémon games has been a hit or miss over the years but the original one was always one of the best.
As it is a remake, a new feature is being added to the gameplay. Auto mode allows players to navigate each battle efficiently by pressing the L button, which optimizes each character’s path. To turn it off, all you do is tap L once again. It’s a neat addition for those who might find themselves overwhelmed by the gameplay.
