Nothing new is seemingly being shown at the event given the lineup of video games being shown are all things we’ve seen over the last several months. For a country that at one point banned console, the gates are finally open with companies like Tencent and NetEase recruting talent worldwide to make video games for every market.
Niko Partners has followed the market for years and reported in 20220 the market’s assessment was $1.84 billion for the console market. By 2025, that number will jump to $2.46 billion.
